About Anita Ford

The Anita Ford Collection is the result of Anita's passion for unique fabrics and exotic locales. Traveling for many years in Asia provided exposure to the famous qualities of Thai silk and led to the inevitable creation of her signature look for the modern Western woman. Anita loves to introduce women to the art of coordinating a beautiful wardrobe using a few special jackets and shawls that can travel anywhere.

With a grandmother who sewed special fanciful clothes for her since age six, Anita was destined to develop a love of fine fabrics. Color was her passion and she spent every Saturday during school years searching for fabrics to make into styles that no one else would have. A modeling career which began at age thirteen would further commit her to develop her talent for creating dramatic combinations of fabric and color. And her deepest wish is for your shopping experience to bring you joy and a sense personal expression.
